Our commitment
At The Queens, we’re committed to taking a considered approach to our environmental impact, looking carefully at how we operate and the decisions we make across the hotel.
From establishing our own in-house dedicated team to reviewing the choices we make across our day-to-day operations, we’re working to better understand and manage our impact, while continuing to identify opportunities for improvement.

Actions speak louder than words, which is why we’ve established a team of people on-site to drive our efforts. Here are just a few of the ways we’re moving towards a more mindful place to stay in Leeds.
- Refillable toiletries in rooms
- Eliminating pollutants and harmful chemicals from cleaning products by 2030
- Still and sparkling water for meetings and events is served through our Aqua Libra filtration system, avoiding the need for single-use water bottles

Accreditations
Making it official
We’re proud to have achieved Gold status with both Green Tourism and Green Meetings. We also hold Silver status with Greengage ECOsmart and Green Key certification. Each of these independent accreditations assesses our performance against a defined set of criteria, helping us to review our practices and identify areas for continued improvement.

Looking for a convenient way to explore Leeds? There are two bike rental bays located a stones throw away from the hotel in City Square, so you can effortlessly navigate your way through the city and discover hidden gems that may be missed on foot. These operate on a pay as you ride, or buy up front and save basis.
