About Us
What’s the story?
A majestic presence on Leeds' City Square, The Queens Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1937 – some of them rich and famous. A stay here means you’ll be following in the illustrious footsteps of Princess Grace of Monaco, Cary Grant, Nelson Mandela and Laurel and Hardy.
Transformation
A new lease of life
The Queens underwent a £16 million refurbishment that saw all its rooms given a contemporary makeover – and 17 new ones added. However, many of the hotel's original art deco features have been retained, ensuring that it's as delightfully elegant as it ever was.
Grand Pacific Restaurant
Dinner is served
Another new addition to the hotel is the Grand Pacific restaurant and bar, whose exquisite cuisine has been winning rave reviews from guests and non-residents alike. Why not wash it down with a delicious cocktail or a glass of fizz? Or relax with a coffee and sweet treat in the stylish Café Pacific after a busy afternoon of sightseeing.
Our Team
People power
Whether you’re here for a special celebration, a high-powered business meeting or a relaxing drink after an afternoon's shopping, The Queens' friendly team will pull out all the stops to ensure that your visit is all kinds of fabulous.
Events and Spaces
A need-to-know basis
With 232 bedrooms and suites, a private entrance from Leeds station concourse, 13 event spaces for meetings, celebration dinners and parties, and the Grand Pacific restaurant and bar, this is a sprawling haven, away from the hustle and bustle.
